What Is This?

A Heist Game is an OSR styled Role Playing Game of breaking, entering, and unadulterated crime in an industrialising City of cruel strangeness and strange cruelty. Steal everything worth a damn, trust as little as you can afford, and only ever kick 'em while they're down.

Working from Chris Bissette’s 'a dungeon game', the slow and calculating heist genre has been filtered through a fine mesh of OSR sensibilities - where decisions are deliberate, having the right tool for the job is key, and consequences are weighty.

Tooth-Skin Edition?

The Tooth-Skin edition is what others might call, "An Ashcan Release". This is the rules and content you might need to run a Heist-style Adventure in the OSR vein. It requires some paper, a pencil, some six sided die, and some twenty sided die.

The Rt. Hon. Carew Lockland is taking a business partner to the Opera. Crucially, they have also taken their bodyguard with them. This leaves their estate essentially unguarded.

The Shalecrest Hall Heist is a starter heist for First-Time Thieves in the same vein as the main book itself. Use it to try things out, kick off your own game, or steal wholesale for something else. I don't care, I'm not a cop.
